Christina L. Murray, an Atlanta, GA native, founded Live IT Out, Inc. in 2016. Birthed from her own life experiences and vision, Christina, being of the Christian faith, wants those from all walks of life to come together and encourage each other to Live Out the life we've been so fortunate to experience.

 

"When I was 16 yrs, old I had one of the greatest encounters with God, while almost dying by suicide. My journey was very spiritual felt as though I was in spiritual warfare. At age 16, I didn't know what spiritual warfare or depression was. I would sleep all day and night and prayed to never to wake up. I would eat very little, didn't want anyone talking to me. School was too demanding, and I wanted to drop out. I would be asleep and was at war in my dreams.

 

The darkness of depression would have me so exhausted - too tired from nothing to fight or even pray about it. God fought those battles in my sleep. My mind was a terrible place to visit.

 

Voices in my head would tell me that I was worthless, I'd never accomplish my dreams, no one loved me, among other negative things about myself. That voice walked me near death. I went into the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife, went into my bedroom, and put the knife to my throat. Once I placed the knife to my neck, that same voice said, "NO! Put the knife through your heart instead it'll be quicker and you wont suffer as much".

 

During this time, I fell to  my knees and and as I was about to put the knife through my heart, God called my name. I'll never forget it. God called MY name and said "Christina, STOP! I have something for you and it's going to happen."

 

The calmness and assurance of that voice sounded like a presence that was in control. Christina said she was ashamed to share her story and it was 10 years before sharing IT with anyone. Live IT Out is Christina living out the "IT" that once had her bound and encourages others to LIVE, to tell their own story.

 

IT does get better. Don't give up!
